A small gang has completed the brickwork on the first 100m, now the half way point. Still to do is infilling the top layer of reds on the last 10m, putting in the final stretch of drain pipe and pea gravel, and a tidy up of the site, ready for the infill. This will take place during the whole week from Monday 9th June to Friday 13th June.
Two dumpers, a small 360 and a roller have been ordered for the infill activity. Pictures will then be available again - your scribe and some of the gang have been at Broadway, where the erection of the scaffolding means that the brick laying could resume, which it has, with vigour ! More signal box brick laying at Broadway Sunday and Monday !

A big thank you for the contributors to the comments on the Winchcombe excursion train. It's brilliant how the community can dig up this information. In due course I will publish the result in the Cornishman in the 'Pictures from the Archives' section. More comments are still welcome.
